Had a couple of these take an interest in the new feeder. I thought they looked kind of cool with their all black body and bright yellow eyes.

Then I watched them use their beaks to throw all the food on the ground in order to get at the sun flower seeds. Then I thought they looked like they need to go! Switched over to just Safflower seed and they seem to be leaving it alone, and are back to cleaning up after the squirrels.

I believe them to be nuniasce birds, and have changed my offerings in our feeders accordingly. However, I am impressed by your consistent love for them and tend to view them in a bit of a different light as a result.Your poetic brainwashing is working.
